Stand Up. Stand Out. Be Yourself. 

There’s something pretty powerful about people being unapologetically themselves. 

The friend who turns every situation into a story. The person whose style always catches your eye. The one who backs themselves no matter what. The quiet confidence. The loud confidence. The niche obsessions. The chaotic energy. The kindness. The humour. The individuality. 

That’s exactly what inspired our Stand Up, Stand Out campaign. 

Over the last few weeks, SUSO has been out on the streets of Bristol and Leeds chatting to people about what makes them stand up and stand out – and the responses have been everything we hoped for and more.  

From hilarious answers to wholesome moments, the campaign has become a celebration of personality in all its forms. No scripts. No polished speak. Just real people sharing the things that make them uniquely them. Because that’s what SUSO is all about. 

We’ve never wanted to be a brand that just talks at people. We want to create moments people want to be part of. The kind you send to your mates, repost to your story, or watch three times because someone’s answer was either painfully relatable or unexpectedly iconic. 

Working with creators across TikTok and Instagram, we took to some of the UK’s busiest youth hotspots and asked one simple question: 

“What makes you stand up and stand out?” 

What happened next was a mix of chaos, confidence, comedy and honesty – exactly the energy we love.  

Some people talked about their fashion. Others spoke about their personality, creativity, culture or ambitions. Some just made everyone laugh. But every answer felt real, and that’s what is making the campaign so special. 

And we didn’t want the conversation to stop there. 

That’s why we’re now turning things over to our community online, asking SUSO fans to tell us what makes them stand up and stand out too. Across our socials, we’re inviting people to tag friends, share their stories and celebrate the people around them who deserve a bit of recognition.  

Of course, there are prizes involved too. 

We’ve been giving away SUSO drinks and exclusive merch bundles packed with tote bags, Croc charms, pop sockets and plushie keyrings – because if you’re going to stand out, you may as well do it properly.  

At its heart, this campaign is about confidence and community. It’s about reminding people that standing out isn’t something to hide – it’s something to celebrate. 

The internet can be full of trends telling people to look the same, act the same and follow the same formula. Stand Up, Stand Out is our way of pushing back against that. We want to champion the laughs, bold personalities, random talents and everyday individuality that make people memorable. 

And seeing the response so far has been incredible.
