An Apple a day! Introducing our NEW flavour Apple & Cherry

It’s coming up to that time of year where schools, colleges and universities all prepare for a new academic year filled with fresh students, big updates and exciting changes to their food and drink offering. Here at SUSO we know the importance of keeping up with the latest trends which is why for 2023 we are releasing a new punchy flavour, Apple & Cherry. This zingy and fruity flavour will add some cherry goodness to your drinks options!

Bold flavours

There are always so many fruit combinations to choose from when developing any product, but we make sure to understand key flavour trends and ensure we have an offering that addresses what people want in 2023…which in this instance is the return of classic and bold flavours, including cherry and apple. Here at SUSO we pride ourselves on making drinks and flavour combinations that everyone will enjoy and are looking forward to our latest flavour being rolled out and getting into the hands of our fans.

While the last few years have seen some unprecedented events, this has actually impacted consumption habits and changed consumer behaviour when it comes to soft drinks. The health benefits provided by drinks are no longer secondary to taste and there has been a greater desire for functional ingredients and better balanced nutrition. Our Apple & Cherry flavour is 1 of your 5 a day as is the rest of the SUSO range.

Vegan friendly

With 13 million Brits registering as meat-free in 2021 and the UK vegan food market growing at an impressive rate of 9.58% we have developed all our flavours, including the new Apple & Cherry, to be suitable for those following a vegan diet. Not only that, but SUSO drinks contain no artificial colours, flavourings, sugars or sweeteners – it is in fact made with 60% fruit juice! Not only do you get the perfect fruit kick with a touch of fizz, but one that is a better-for-you alternative to other added-sugar carbonated drinks available. Our drinks are school compliant and are a popular choice with the target market (our SUSO Squad).

Try our new flavour

We are excited to announce that we will be exhibiting at LACA this year, the national event dedicated to the school food sector, where you will be able to come meet the SUSO team and take away a sample of the new Apple & Cherry flavour too. The event is Wednesday 5th July until Friday 7th July at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, so hopefully we will see you there!
